Pastor Omar Exume & Family
Rev. Omar Exume was born in Brooklyn, New York to Christian parents (Tider & Marie Exume). He came to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 14. In the year 2000 he moved from the Northeast to the state of GA. He continued to grow in the Lord and in his education. He was called into ministry in the year 2006, however he decided to run away from the call until 2010 when he heeded the Lord and entered seminary.
Rev. Omar went on to receive 2 Master’s Degrees in seminary, and during that process found the love of his life Jenny Exume. At the age of 26 Omar and Jenny got married, and have brought forth from this union 3 children; Isaiah Annabelle, and another on the way. Rev. Omar is very excited to have a great partner, as the scripture says, “he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD” (Proverbs 18:22).
Within his spiritual journey Rev. Omar was over the youth, worship, young adult, teaching, and pastoral ministries. During a moment of fasting with his wife Jenny, the Lord revealed to them that they had to pack up and move to a place they did not know much about; which was the state of Tennessee. He also gave them His vision for Ministry. After the fast, they began the transition to leave their current ministry and state to follow the Lord to Knoxville, TN. The Lord supernaturally brought them to the House of Worship, where they were able to join and become the Executive Pastor of the church. Shortly after, they were approached by the Founding Pastor and wife Bishop Anthony and Elder Gail Collins, to continue on the ministry as the Lord had called them out.
Rev. Omar & Jenny are delighted to lead The House of Worship, and are grateful for the journey that the Lord has brought them on. Rev. Omar is intentionally leading the ministry towards discipleship, according to the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. Together they are focused on making disciples who will make disciples by loving, teaching, and building up Christ Centered Disiciples.
